Now, a new chapter begins…Nestled above the vineyards of Te Mata, our newest early childhood centre opens at the end of July — and we’re excited to welcome you.

At Āwhina Te Mata, tamariki will:

- Grow and taste food from our own garden

- Enjoy nutritious, home-cooked meals

- Have nappies provided — at no extra cost

- Form special bonds with our friendly chickens — part of everyday learning

And experience a warm, whānau-based environment that truly feels like home.

We’re open Monday to Friday, 7:30 to 5:30 — and follow the Āwhina philosophy: calm, heart-led care that respects every child’s rhythm.
